Tuddenham Mill has been chosen as one of the winners of The Good Hotel Guide Editor’s Choice 2018 award. Only a small handful of hotels from the UK and Ireland were picked for the best Restaurant-with-Rooms award. The top 10 best restaurants with rooms award combines a list of fantastic hotels where food and accommodation go hand in hand. Good food with excellent location, atmosphere and wonderful customer service are essential parts for hotels to be considered.

The Good Hotel Guide 2018 was released this October and is celebrating its 40th edition. The guide is often referred as the bible of the industry and features small, independent hotels with a real character and personality.

Tuddenham Mill and its 3 AA rosette restaurant have long been at the forefront of the foodie world in East Anglia and is delighted to be recognised. Chef Patron, Lee Bye, has said: “it is terrific news for the hotel. The team and I are so pleased to be recognised as Editor’s choice. The Good Hotel Guide inspectors have said, “a graceful spot in Suffolk countryside, this modern make-over of a 243-year-old mill surprises with its boutiquey bedrooms and ambitious dinners.” They were impressed by stylish, well-thought-out bedrooms, countryside portions and inspiring food combinations in the restaurant and most of all generosity and graciousness of the Mill’s customer service.

The Good Hotel Guide prides itself on being free-spoken and impartial and is combined after anonymous visits from the guide’s team of inspectors and dedicated readers’ feedback.
