Cookbook and food lovers’ guide
Suffolk Feast is a beautifully presented book that features interviews with 20 talented Suffolk’s chefs, each of whom promotes local produce and ingredients. It is an ideal read for all food lovers and is filled with mouth-watering recipes.
Emma Freud has said “this book puts 20 of our local food heroes centre stage in the context of the wonderful local ingredients they most enjoy cooking in their hard-working, delicious Suffolk kitchens.”
The book includes our own Head Chef, Lee Bye and gives a great insight into Lee’s cooking philosophies and how “Lee transforms the humblest allotment produce into thrilling fine dining fare.” Lee also shares a selection of his recipes, including local wild mallard duck with Rob Doe’s white broccoli, Elveden beets wilted kale and almonds.
Written by foodies Tessa Allingham and Glyn Williams and full of stunning images from photographer Phil Morley Suffolk Feast makes an excellent present or Christmas gift and is available to buy at Tuddenham Mill.
