Opening Times at The Chequers Inn Until Easter

Dear guests,

I sent a note out last week on our response to Coronavirus (Covid-19). I would like to follow that note with a further update at the Chequers Inn, Thornham.

We are dedicated to delivering incredibly high standards in all our properties and I would like to let you know of some changes at the Chequers Inn opening times over the next few weeks. At the Chequers we will be open for bedroom bookings, lunch and dinner on Friday, Saturday, Sundays, and breakfasts on Monday morning during the quieter month of March. 

Monday to Thursday we are asking guests to experience our sister hotel the Lifeboat Inn (500m away from the Chequers Inn) down a quiet road towards the beach. The Lifeboat is our larger property in Thornham. It has an established customer base focussing on traditionally locally sourced quality pub food and ales. Making this change allows us to keep our teams together, flex our working patterns and in these times of uncertainty deliver a top quality guest experience midweek.

If you would like to stay away from airports, trains and towns and still wish to experience a stunning break on the quiet North Norfolk coast, we welcome you to Thornham.   Come and sample the Chequers Inn Friday to Sunday for our 2 Rosette food and quality accommodation in our large Grade II listed property or the Lifeboat Inn for a traditional coastal welcome.

These are challenging and unprecedented times and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your much valued continued support, I and our teams look forward to welcoming you to one of our hotels very soon.
